Framing

Em Collier provides full framing services for artists, galleries, and collectors, from shaping the molding to installing the art. Conservation quality materials such as UV protecting museum glass or acrylic, acid free backing, and acid free mat are standard. Spline joinery is used in every frame to create strong, long lasting miter joints. We are dedicated to using as many sustainable practices as possible, supporting other local businesses when sourcing materials, and using wood and framing supplies made in the US.

Artists framing shows are eligible for a discount based on quantity, as well as incremental payment plans.

Pricing varies based on size, material, profile shape, and wood species. To request a ballpark quote, email info@emcollier.com or use our contact form with the dimensions and brief description of the artwork. Once a general outline has been agreed upon, we can schedule an in person or remote appointment to finalize the design. Please note that I often have a long backlog and can rarely accommodate rush orders. Each piece is made by hand and takes time. It is best to reach out months in advance if you have a specific deadline.

Out of state clients are welcome. We happily serve the entire Northeastern area and beyond.

In addition to custom framing, we also offer a collection of handcrafted mirrors. Made by hand in limited batches and available to order in our online shop, each mirror features clean, geometric lines that highlight the natural beauty and character of the wood itself.

Unlike our framing services, mirrors are not made to order. Instead, they are designed and produced in small runs, allowing us to focus on simple, timeless patterns and the unique qualities of each piece of wood. The result is a series of functional objects that carry the presence of sculpture.

Our mirrors are ideal for adding warmth and character to living spaces, studios, and galleries. Because availability is limited, we recommend checking in often or joining our mailing list to hear about new batches as they are released.
